Fenton Greenhouses is a family owned greenhouse business for over 25 years. They feature annuals, veggies and hanging baskets. You can also bring in your own planters as they do custom planting. Deadline for custom planing is May 15th.
New in 2017 is the Weekenders Pots! These pots feature a special reservoir that stores water so that you can go away for a few days and not have to worry about watering your hanging baskets.
The greenhouses are open from mid April until the end of June. Fenton Greenhouses has top notch customer service and their staff are very knowledgeable. Interact is available.
Directions: From highway #43 turn north onto RR#35 (watch for sign), continue for 5 km and watch for signs.
Fenton Greenhouses is approximately a 10 minute drive from Lefty's Cafe. Come for lunch and go shopping for flowers!

Old Bezanson Townsite
The Old Bezanson Townsite is located 12 km southeast of Bezanson. This hidden gem is quiet and serene and is the perfect place to spend time walking the trails, using the playground and taking in all the beauty nature has to offer. Historical markers tell the history of A.M. Bezanson's dream. Mr. Bezanson began to build a town in this location in the 1900's in anticipation of the railway line, however railway line ended up passing through Grande Prairie instead.
Bad Heart Straw Church
400 bales of rye straw were used to build this little church located in Bad Heart, AB. Pipes were bolted together between the rows of bales to compress the straw and hod it in place. A shingle roof and stucco walls were then added, The total cost of the building was $605.
